Hardy Oil and Gas plc, Hardy Exploration
& Production (India) Inc., and Hardy Oil Africa Ltd, (Hardy)
endeavours to build value through developing sustainable long-term
relationships between partners and the community.
It is the Policy of Hardy to comply with
applicable legislation and as far as reasonably practicable
to conduct all its activities in such a way as to:

all personnel involved in or exposed by its operations

to property and loss of assets due to accidents

effects of its operations on the environment

interests of neighbours and the surroundings
Hardy believes that prevention
of accidents and ill health, and protection of the environment
are essential to the efficient operation of its business.
The company is committed to high standards of health, safety
and environmental protection; these aspects command equal
prominence with other business considerations in the decision
making process.
Health, Safety and Environmental protection
are responsibilities shared by everyone working for the company,
and the full support of all Hardy staff, alliance partners,
and contractors is vital to the successful implementation
of this Policy. Hardy will ensure, as far as reasonably practicable,
that all personnel are aware of their delegated health, safety
and environmental responsibilities and are properly trained
to undertake them diligently.
Health, Safety and Environmental performance
will be monitored and regularly reported to the Board of Directors
of the company. Hardy will ensure that the necessary resources
are provided to support this Policy fully and seek continuous
improvement in performance.
