Water
Wells
As an agricultural country,
India is largely dependant on favourable monsoons for irrigation
needs. Hardy understands the critical need for a more dependable
water source.
Hardy is drilling several
low cost water wells across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu
in India, to assist rural communities meet their potable water
and irrigation needs.
In Tamil Nadu, this effort
is being channeled through the NGO National Agro Foundation,
who are training a cluster of 25 villages in improved agriculture
practices.
In Andhra Pradesh, Hardy
is being assisted by the Rotary International.
